University City will get a new Korean soul food restaurant with beer and soju on Saturday, May 11,,,
Renaissance Towne Center's newest restaurant is Honey Jam Chicken & Beer.
The term “honey jam” comes from the Korean slang term “gguljem,” meaning “having a good time.
The eatery will serve fried chicken with “Honey Jam” seasoning and smokey honey butter sauce and Saigon-style with fried onions.
Other comfort foods include spicy or carbonara tteokbokki, kimchi pasta, beef bulgogi, kimchi fried rice,,,
and drink-friendly snacks like stir-fried sausages, chicken gizzards, and cheese buldak.
The bar will serve Korean beer, soju, and soju-based drinks such Soju Sunrise and Yogurt Soju.
