Draymond Green Reacts to Joel Embiid NBA Finals Post

Despite not playing, Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was a huge conversation point in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The former MVP contemplated one of the Celtics' summer moves as they prepared to grab a 3-0 lead.

After the Bucks traded Jrue Holiday for Damian Lillard, the Celtics acquired him. Embiid wonders if Milwaukee gave Boston the championship by trading him last offseason after he was so important this season.

Draymond Green commented on this post. In his podcast, the Golden State Warriors forward said the Bucks moving Holiday aided the Celtics long-term.

"Yes to Joel's question," Green said. "I just think even in that trade like, you got to find or do all you can to like keep Jrue."

This season, Holiday's two-way ability has helped Boston dominate the competition despite his lack of All-Star numbers. He covers gaps with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown on the opposite end and was awarded All-Defense.

Holiday averaged 12.5 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 4.8 APG, and 42.9% from three during the regular season. His playoff production has been consistent, but he broke out in Game 2 of the finals. Holiday scored 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Most know, Holiday started his NBA career in Philly. After being picked 17th overall in 2009, he played four years for the Sixers. Holiday was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans for Nerlens Noel on draft night 2013.
