At the CMT Music Awards, Jelly Roll urges his fans to "make history" alongside him.
After taking home three CMT Music Awards the previous year, Jelly Roll is nominated for three this year.
Turn off the mute now at 0:59He announced the news on Instagram with a video clip of himself, writing, "Can we make history again this year, y'all? We appreciate CMT and each and every voter! What an exciting year it has been.
"Do y'all remember the CMT Awards last year?" he asked at the beginning of the clip, cutting to a footage of him being named the winner the previous year. "Baby, I'll never forget it!" he cried.
"Let me simply give you the highlights; I'm not sure whether you guys recall every little detail from it. We achieved a three-for-three result. That night, we took home all three of the medals," he recalled, adding, "We made Need A Favor known to the globe."
He was talking about the lead track off his album Whitsitt Chapel, which came out in 2023. "We are back, baby, up for three awards!" Jelly Roll revealed.
