Lionel Messi Documentary ‘Messi Meets America’ Premieres on Apple TV Watch Trailer

As Lionel Messi prepares to debut in Major League Soccer in the US, Apple TV is providing a rare behind-the-scenes peek. 

On Wednesday, October 11, Messi Meets America will premiere three episodes following Messi's next chapter in his record-breaking career, providing unparalleled access to one of the greatest soccer players ever. 

Messi joined MLS and Inter Miami CF after 20 years of greatness at Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain and won the FIFA World Cup in 2022 with Argentina, altering North American soccer forever.  

Messi leads his new team to a Leagues Cup title and more in this new docuseries.  

The series follows Messi's immersion in America, Inter Miami CF's transformation, and the impact he is having on U.S.  

soccer as “Messi Mania” sweeps the continent, from selling out record crowds to his last-minute game-winning goal in his first match to moments with him and his teammates.  

Tim Pastore (Free Solo), Patrick Milling Smith, Brian Carmody, Matt Renner (Free Solo), and Scott Boggins (The Circus) of SMUGGLER Entertainment executive produce the six-part series. SMUGGLER Entertainment and MLS develop it for Apple. 

The first three episodes will air globally on October 11, with more in production for later this year.
