As of press time, a spokesperson for the band had not responded to Billboard's request for details regarding Homme's surgery or recovery timeline.

Last week, the band informed fans that they would not play at the AMA Music Festival preview in Italy on July 5 “due to illness.
Headlining performance ticket holders were advised to wait for contact from the point of purchase, while festival ticket holders were advised to check their websites for updates.
The band last performed on July 6 in Milan's Ippodromo del Galoppo di San Siro, according to setlist.fm.
At press time, the band's authentic net website lists a further run of European competition appearances for August starting with an Aug. 8 show in Gothenburg at Sweden on the Way Out West Festival.
