ESPN sources said Saturday that Charlotte Hornets free agent forward Miles Bridges has signed a three-year, $75 million contract.
On Saturday afternoon, Bridges' agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports reached an agreement with executive VP of basketball operations Jeff Peterson to bring him.....
....back to a core that features All-Star guard LaMelo Ball and talented second-year forward Brandon Miller.
Bridges, 26, considered sign-and-trade options but returned to the Hornets.
Bridges averaged 21 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists after missing the entire 2022-2023 season due to a no-contest plea for felony domestic assault.
He returned to form as a Hornets standout after a 10-game suspension in 2023-2024.
ESPN Stats & Information found Bridges to be the fourth player in team history to have consecutive 40-point games in early February.
Bridges' three-year contract continues the Hornets' productive summer, as Peterson is balancing a competitive roster with future assets.
